Founded in 1919, AUC moved to a new 270-acre state-of-the-art campus in New Cairo in 2008. The American University in Cairo (AUC) announces two one-year positions in Philosophy, to begin in Fall 2017. Teaching experience is an asset but not required. English is the language of instruction. The successful candidates will teach three sections per semester of AUC's freshman/sophomore level Philosophical Thinking course. Area of specialization: Open; area of concentration: Open.

Requirements:

PhD in hand at the time of appointment.
