Job description |
The Philosophy Department at Wesleyan University is seeking a one-year, full time Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy with AOS in social and political philosophy, ideally with AOS/AOC in Philosophy of Race, July 1, 2017-June 30, 2018. The teaching load is 3/2 and should include a first-year seminar and an advanced seminar on the successful candidate’s area of research. We are looking for an experienced teacher-scholar who can teach both majors and non-majors. Candidates will be expected to have a Ph.D. in hand by the time of appointment. Skype interviews will be scheduled for late March.
