Assistant or Associate Professor (EXPIRED)

UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER, Rochester, NY. Tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate professorial level, starting July 1, 2018.  AOS: Open. AOC: Proficiency in teaching both Philosophy of Language and Logic at the graduate and undergraduate levels is essential. The Department of Philosophy seeks candidates with outstanding research credentials who can work productively with colleagues and doctoral students in core areas of analytical philosophy.  Excellence in teaching at diverse levels of instruction is essential, and consideration will be given to candidates’ potential for collaboration with colleagues in related disciplines.  Course load: 2-2, plus doctoral supervision and normal department service.  Competitive salary, benefits, and research support.  Application deadline: November 1, 2017.
