Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow* (EXPIRED)

The NYU Center for Bioethics in the College of Global Public Health at NYU invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor/Faculty Fellow, pending administrative and budgetary approval. The initial appointment will be for one year beginning September 1, 2018, renewable annually for a maximum of three years. We especially welcome candidates who have worked in bioethics, environmental studies, and/or public health ethics as well as those who have training in such areas as ethics, political philosophy, or social and political theory and who have strong or emerging teaching and research interests in bioethics, environmental studies, and/or public health ethics.  

The successful applicant will teach three courses per year, at both the graduate and undergraduate level, in the NYU Center for Bioethics.  The successful candidate will also actively participate in seminars, conferences, and other projects in the Center.

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants must expect to receive their Ph.D by Fall 2018 or have completed it no more than three years before the start date. We strongly encourage minorities, women, or members of other underrepresented groups to apply.
