UNIVERSITY OF ROCHESTER HUMANITIES CENTER invites applications from tenure-track faculty (open rank) for its 2018-19 fellowships. The center supports continued engagement in literature, history, the arts, cultures, and philosophies past and present. The theme for 2018-19 is “Expertise and Evidence.” Fellowship applicants should be involved in projects that address the theme, broadly understood. The fellowship period is September 1, 2018 to May 15, 2019. Fellows are expected to be in residence in Rochester and will receive a stipend up to $60,000 (commensurate with experience and need) and a fund for research and travel.
