Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Philosophy
The School of Humanities invites application for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Philosophy with expertise in European continental traditions broadly construed.
Candidates should possess a PhD in philosophy or related fields. Candidates should also demonstrate a strong track record or potential for research as well as a commitment to teaching excellence and administrative service. Selection will be based on evidence of potential for high-quality research and effective teaching.
The usual workload includes teaching two courses per semester, conducting scholarly research and contributing to university services. NTU offers competitive annual salaries and strong support for faculty research, including grants for travel and conferences.
Emoluments
Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package.
