Tenure Track Position in Philosophy of Science (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy and Arts, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), invites applications from qualified individuals for a tenure-track position in Philosophy of Science, subject to approval by the relevant authorities.

Requirements:

• A PhD in Philosophy with specialization in Philosophy of Science.

Experience:

• University teaching in the Philosophy of Science field.
• Research in the Philosophy of Science field; relevant publications in national and international journals.

• Related skills in one or more of the following areas: Philosophy of Biology; Environmental Science; Environmental Ethics; Ethics of Science and Technology; Biotechnologies.
• Professional involvement in the philosophy field (committees of experts, philosophical associations, etc.).

Note: Knowledge of French is required for this position.

Duties:

The successful candidate will be engaged in teaching, research, and service to the community, and will provide pedagogical direction.
