Assistant/Full Professor

Xiamen University Department of Philosophy invites applications for an Assistant/Full Professorship. The appointment is for 3-5 years. Responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching (typically 7 credit hours per year), thesis supervision, and research workshop and conference organization. The successful applicant must have a Ph.D. in philosophy by the time of appointment, a solid research record appropriate to his or her stage of career, college-level teaching experience, and excellent communication skills.

Department of Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy at Xiamen University was established in 1926. Our faculty members are nationally recognized by their research across the main areas of philosophy, including epistemology, Chinese philosophy, ethics, experimental philosophy, Marxist philosophy, the history of philosophy, philosophy of religion, and so on.
