The Philosophy Department at Gonzaga University invites applications for two one-year full-time, non-tenure-track faculty positions, beginning August 28, 2018. AOS/AOC: open. Gonzaga's core curriculum includes Reasoning (PHIL 101), Philosophy of Human Nature (PHIL 201), and Ethics (PHIL 301). Applicants should be prepared to teach some combination of 101 and 201. Opportunity to teach 301 is also possible. Teaching load: 24 credits/year. Required Qualifications: A Ph. D. in Philosophy; at least one year of teaching experience; demonstrated teaching effectiveness; and evidence of active scholarly engagement.
