Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at the University of Florida, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, renewable, non-tenure-accruing position at the rank of Lecturer, beginning August 16, 2019. Area of Specialization: Ethics. Applicants will have a Ph.D. in Philosophy or complete the Ph.D. by August 15, 2019. The salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a full benefits package. The duties of the position include teaching six courses per academic year plus service to the Department and the University. The successful candidate will contribute to an undergraduate certificate program in data science by regularly teaching a course in the ethics of data and technology.
