The Wake Forest University Department of Philosophy invites applications for a permanent, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor position, to begin July 1, 2019. While the AOS is Open, demonstrable competency to teach a survey course in Ancient and/or Modern Philosophy is required. A Ph.D. in philosophy and proof of teaching excellence are required. The teaching responsibility is six courses per year. University and departmental service expected. The initial contract is for two years and is renewable, and the position is eligible for promotion to Associate and Full Teaching Professor.
