Assistant or Associate Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Tel-Aviv University, Israel, invites applications for a tenure-track position in Philosophy, effective from October 2019 or 2020. 

The required area of specialization is:

Ethics in a Continental/Historical Orientation

The position requires a proven record of excellence in research and teaching (teaching in Hebrew within two years of appointment); academic publications, and an expertise in ethics in the post-Kantian continental tradition.

An AOC in political philosophy may be an advantage. 

Candidates must hold a Ph.D., or receive a Ph.D. before filling the position.

Salary and conditions will conform to Tel Aviv University regulations. Appointment procedures will be carried out according to the rules and regulations of Tel-Aviv University and are subject to the approval of the University authorities.
