Job description |
The Department of Philosophy invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor (tenure-track), commencing August 2020. AOS: Philosophy of Science. AOC: Open. Teaching Load: 3/3. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. from an accredited institution and demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching, the ability to establish a scholarly research program, and a willingness to be active in service to the college and community. Prospective candidates should be supportive of the department’s commitment to the history of philosophy, willing to conduct interdisciplinary teaching in the College’s Development of Western Civilization Program, and willing to teach service courses.
