Job description |
The Erasmus Initiative “Dynamics of Inclusive Prosperity” is seeking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher in philosophy. The initiative combines members of the Erasmus School of Philosophy (ESPhil), Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), and Erasmus School of Law (ESL), and channels their expertise into ambitious multi-disciplinary research projects. Work is done in collaborative teams that cut across disciplines. Research Theme “Values in Finance” Profile The postdoctoral researcher is expected to:
The successful candidate will have:A PhD in philosophy;
Conditions of employment The successful candidate is expected to start as soon as possible, and at the very latest on January 1, 2020. And will be based at ESPhil in Rotterdam. A full-time, three year contract with Erasmus University Rotterdam will be offered. In accordance with the conditions applied at Erasmus University Rotterdam as indicated in the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO NU) of the Dutch universities, the salary is dependent on the candidate’s experience and is set at CAO NU scale 11 with a minimum of € 3.637,- and a maximum of € 4978,- gross per month, on a fulltime basis. In addition, EUR pays an 8% holiday allowance and an end-of-year payment of 8.3% and offers excellent secondary benefits. In addition, EUR takes part in the ABP pension scheme, and we also offer partially paid parental leave. For international spouses we have set up a dual career programme. Moreover, EUR staff members are allowed to make use of the EUR facilities, including the Erasmus sports centre and the University Library.
