Assistant Professor of Philosophy (Tenure-track), University of Dallas, Irving, TX

 

UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, Irving, TX. Tenure-track, Assistant Professor (with consideration of a higher rank, if warranted), beginning Fall semester, 2020. AOS: Medieval. AOC: History of Western Philosophy. Ph.D. required prior to appointment. Teaching load: 3/3.

A candidate should satisfy the following three broad requirements: (1) The candidate shares our commitment to the recovery and renewal of the Western heritage of liberal education and the Catholic intellectual tradition. (2) The candidate is adequately prepared to teach in our B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. programs, and in the philosophy portion of the undergraduate core curriculum. (3) The candidate articulates how his or her research interests contribute to the search for philosophic wisdom.
