Area of Specialty (AOS): Bioethics, Area of Competence (AOC): business ethics. Ability to teach other applied ethics courses a plus (e.g. Military Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Sports Ethics, etc.). The successful candidate will be required to teach four courses with a maximum of three preparations per semester. A demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, experience in teaching applied ethics, and a demonstration of research and scholarly activity are preferred. Finalist(s) for this position must communicate well and successfully complete an interview process as judged by the department faculty. Recommendation for hiring is based on the majority of the regular, full-time faculty in the department. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, and criminal background check. Completing this search is contingent upon available funding.
