Part-Time Lecturer in Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy of The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for part-time Lecturer positions for the 2020 Spring semester. Part-time Lecturers will teach undergraduate resident and/or online courses in Philosophy. A Master's Degree in Philosophy or a related field is required; Lecturers with Ph.D. degrees in the discipline may also be assigned to each upper level undergraduate courses. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments. Lecturers normally teach two to three courses. Areas of Specialization and Areas of Competence are open, but the department has particular needs in ethics and philosophy of science.
