Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at the National University of Singapore invites applications for two open-rank tenure-track or tenured appointments. Philosophers of all research specialties are encouraged to apply. Review of applications will begin November 10, 2019. Applicants should submit a CV, writing sample, and 3 letters of recommendation. Additional letters of recommendation and a cover letter are optional.

The department has a history of fruitful interaction between philosophers from a diverse range of traditions, and invites candidates from all areas of philosophy to apply. The department offers undergraduate, masters, and doctoral degrees. The teaching load is 2:1 (one or two courses per semester, totaling three per academic year). Teaching duties begin in August 2020. All instruction is in English. Salaries are internationally competitive and housing benefits are offered. Substantial funding for research and conference travel is available. Women and members of other groups traditionally underrepresented in philosophy are particularly encouraged to apply.
