Job description |
The Philosophy program at East Tennessee State University seeks an Assistant Professor of Philosophy (tenure track) with an AOS in Ancient Philosophy. The AOC is open, but preference will be given to candidates who can teach Philosophy of Race, Latinx Philosophy, Asian Philosophy, Islamic Philosophy, or Philosophy of Gender and Sexuality. The successful candidate will be expected to teach an upper level course in the History of Ancient Philosophy once each year. The position involves a 3-3 teaching load, expectations of research, and usual service duties.
