Position Description The Department of Philosophy, College of Liberal Arts at Texas A&M University invites applications for a full-time Tenured/Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor position with a 9 month academic appointment beginning in the Fall of 2020. Area of Specialization: African/Africana, Latin American or Latinx Philosophy, Area of Competence: Philosophy of Law. Teaching will include undergraduate courses on issues related to philosophy of law, such as human rights, critical race theory, criminal justice or migration. The successful candidate will be expected to teach 4 courses/year or equivalent at the undergraduate and graduate levels, carry out a strong program of research, and engage in service. Qualifications A PhD in Philosophy or related field is required upon appointment.
