Qualifications:  PhD in Philosophy by the start of the position

Additional preferred qualifications:  Demonstrated commitment to teaching undergraduates from diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and academic backgrounds, including first-generation students.

Teaching Load:  4/4 load, with expected initial teaching load of 3/3 for the first two years of probationary employment, per contract guidelines.

Compensation:  Commensurate with experience and qualifications.  CSUB offers a generous benefit package (e.g., excellent health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits).
