Job description

Neuroethics Research Faculty


The Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine invites applications for an open rank tenure-track/tenured research faculty position to begin in the fall of 2020. We encourage applicants who have research interests in the emerging field of neuroethics to apply.


Applicants should have demonstrated scholarship in the field, a record of accomplishment or commitment to obtaining external funding for research, demonstrated skills in collaborating across disciplines, and a strong commitment to medical education. Applicants must have a terminal post-graduate degree (JD, PhD, MD, or equivalent) in bioethics, philosophy, neuroscience, law, social sciences, or other related field of study.

The successful candidate will develop a funded research program within the Center and participate in the other main mission areas of the Center including the opportunity to participate in the Center’s extensive education program.
