Lecturer – Philosophy (Political Philosophy/Ethics) Job No.: 601895 Location: Clayton campus Employment Type: Full-time Duration: Continuing Appointment Remuneration: $97,203 - $115,429 pa Level B (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity The School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies is recruiting a Lecturer to join the Philosophy Program at Monash University. The successful applicant will contribute to teaching, research, and graduate supervision in the Philosophy Program and will teach courses in Philosophy, the interdisciplinary major in Human Rights, as well as the newly established Bachelor in Politics, Philosophy & Economics (PPE). Experience in these areas will be favourably considered. Area of Specialisation: Political Philosophy/Ethics; some capacity and track record in decision theory, rational choice theory, network theory, cognitive science, and/or philosophy of biology/economics/statistics is desirable.
