Job description |
The University of Florida invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure-accruing, time-limited appointment in Philosophy at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor, effective August 16, 2020. The department invites applicants with specializations in early modern philosophy or political philosophy. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in both of those areas. The ability to teach feminist philosophy would also be an advantage. The successful candidate will teach six courses in the academic year, three in each semester. Teaching in the Fall 2020 semester will include undergraduate classes in modern philosophy and political philosophy. Salary is competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a full benefits package.
