Post Doc Research Associate (EXPIRED)

THREE-YEAR POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP

The Philosophy Department at Purdue University, West Lafayette campus, invites applications for a three-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Medieval Philosophy (August 1, 2020–July 31, 2023).  The position includes a salary of $47,500 and an annual research allowance of $1,500.  The successful applicant will be expected to teach 3 courses per year (1-2 load)—one in the Department of Philosophy and two in Cornerstone (SCLA 101 or 102)—and will also be given the opportunity (and funding) to organize a conference in the second or third year of their fellowship.  Candidates working in any area of medieval philosophy are encouraged to apply.  We seek a philosopher of exceptional promise who will contribute to the excellence of our department and college. 

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have received their Ph.D. between September 1, 2015 and June 30, 2020.
