Adjunct Openings at Gettysburg College (online/hybrid)
The Department of Philosophy invites applications for adjunct positions to cover one or both of the following courses: Ancient Greek and Roman Philosophy (PHIL 205) and Introduction to Philosophy (PHIL 101) for the fall semester of 2020 (beginning August 17). Both courses may be taught as hybrid (online and in-person) or as fully online. We especially welcome candidates who bring a focus outside the Anglo-European canon, a commitment to the ethos of the liberal arts tradition, and who can contribute to the department’s pluralistic approach to philosophy. Ph.D. degree preferred but not required at time of appointment.
Gettysburg College is a highly selective liberal arts college located within 90 minutes of the Washington/Baltimore metropolitan area.
