Professor of Business Ethics Position Search

The Department of Business at the American University in Bulgaria (AUBG) is searching for a faculty member in Business Ethics. This is a one-year full-time position for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.

The level of appointment is open and based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Teaching a load of six courses of Business Ethics per academic year or possibly five courses of Business Ethics and an elective;
• Producing research;
• Advising students; and,
• Working with the department, the university, and the wider community in service activities.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

a)    An earned PhD degree in Philosophy (or ABD with target completion date of August 2021) or closely related field of Business Ethics from an accredited institution

b)    Experience in teaching similar undergraduate level courses

c)    Record of publications and/or scholarly research

d)    Experience in an American liberal arts-style education or willingness to adapt to the American liberal arts style of teaching

e)    A collegial disposition.
