The Center for Population-Level Bioethics (CPLB) at Rutgers University invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral associate position, with a strong possibility of renewal for a second year. Postdoctoral associates conduct independent research in population-level bioethics, mentored by Nir Eyal, Henry Rutgers Professor of Bioethics and founder and director of CPLB, and other CPLB and Rutgers faculty members. Our offices are located in the center of New Brunswick, about an hour away from New York City, at the beautiful Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research.

A writing sample of 4,000-10,000 words, published or unpublished, that reflects the applicant’s analytical skills and writing abilities. 4. A research project proposal of 1,500-3,000 words, which the applicant aims to complete or substantially advance over their year at CPLB. The proposed research can be entirely philosophical/normative or combine empirical and normative approaches; it can be abstract or applied; but it must be in population-level bioethics. 5. Three letters of recommendation, emailed to email@example.com. Please do not upload letters to the online application system.
