Faculty Position in Philosophy (EXPIRED)

Kenrick-Glennon Seminary in Saint Louis, MO seeks a candidate to fill a position in Philosophy.

Position is full-time salary and benefits, with a very competitive salary scale. Rank to be determined based on the successful applicant’s qualifications.

Kenrick-Glennon Seminary, located in the Archdiocese of St. Louis, prepares men for priesthood in the Roman Catholic Church in dioceses throughout the Midwest and Great Plains.

Candidate will teach 3/3 load, primarily in the Systematic and Historical sequences of the philosophy curriculum. Philosophy courses are taught in a Thomistic framework. Ability and willingness to teach history courses at the undergraduate level is a strong plus.

Candidate must be committed to priestly formation in the Catholic tradition. Ability to foster the integration of faith and reason in the Catholic tradition is essential. Since courses are being taught in the context of an integral program of priestly formation, we expect teachers to know their students in such a way that the teacher can contribute to the human, spiritual, intellectual, and pastoral growth of each seminarian.
