Assistant Professor – Philosophy The Department of Philosophy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell seeks applicants for an Assistant Professor commencing September 2021. The successful candidate should conduct research in Epistemology and Philosophy of Science, and have teaching competencies in the Philosophy of Race, or Feminist Philosophy, or Non-Western Philosophy. The Department runs a major and minor program in philosophy, and conducts service teaching across all six colleges of the university. The Department also maintains a strong public philosophy presence, its faculty writing and being quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, TIME Magazine, and NPR.
