Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Philosophy by time of appointment, with a specialization in either Asian, Africana, or Latin American philosophy.  In addition to teaching a course for first- and second-year students in their area of specialization, the successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and the ability to teach introductory symbolic logic as well as PHIL 220: History of Political Philosophy, a required course in Emory’s Philosophy, Politics, and Law major.
