Assistant Professor of Philosophy (EXPIRED)

Assistant Professor of Philosophy, tenure-track, beginning September 2022.  AOS: Philosophy of Race, Africana Philosophy, Indigenous Philosophy (inc. Native American Philosophy), Philosophy of Environmental Justice, or Feminist Philosophy.  AOC: Continental Philosophy.  Candidates must be able to design and teach intermediate and advanced level philosophy courses to non-majors, and to teach in a cross-disciplinary arts and humanities foundation program that critically addresses ethical and aesthetic questions.  Normal teaching load of 4 courses per year in the pre-tenure years and 5 courses per year thereafter.  Must have Ph.D. in hand and teaching experience.  Please submit a letter of application, curriculum vita, contact information for 3 academic references, 2 to 3 syllabuses of courses applicant has taught, and evidence of scholarly promise (ideally 1 or 2 publications).
