The Department of Philosophy and the Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) Program in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are seeking to appoint a tenure-track faculty member – an Assistant Professor, or an early-in rank Associate Professor – to begin July 1, 2022. The successful candidate would be a core faculty member in our thriving Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Program and would be expected to take a leading role in developing and expanding the PPE Program. AOS: Areas of specialization that fall under the PPE umbrella (e.g., political philosophy, ethics, feminism, philosophy of race, philosophy of social science, rational choice theory) and active research interests in PPE.
