About the position

The Philosophy Department of Brock University (St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada) is seeking applicants at the level of assistant professor for a probationary, tenure-stream position to begin 1 July 2022. A completed PhD in Philosophy is required for consideration. Area of Specialization: Chinese Philosophy. Area of Competence: Open; the department has teaching needs in a range of areas within contemporary Continental Philosophy. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and research. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The MA Program offers courses across three areas of specialization: Continental, Eastern, and Comparative Philosophy.
