Job description |
The Department of Philosophy at Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the area of Philosophy on Mind, with an AOC in at least one of the following: Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Race, Philosophy of Gender, or Environmental Philosophy, beginning in the Fall of 2022. The teaching load for this position is 4.5 courses per year. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence in both teaching and research. A Ph.D. in Philosophy at the time of appointment is required. The Wake Forest Philosophy Department is a vibrant community of 10 permanent faculty with a wide-range of teaching and research interests and nearly 100 undergraduate Philosophy majors.
