IE University’s Arts and Humanities Division seeks to fill one tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Philosophy starting September 1, 2022.
Successful candidates will hold a PhD in Philosophy with a specialization in Ethics, Epistemology or Political Philosophy, a promising record of publication, teaching and service, and expertise on issues at the intersection of philosophy with science, technology and/or digital cultures.
We are especially interested in candidates who can contribute flexibly to a range of courses in the Philosophy curriculum at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, who can play a significant role in shaping the future direction of the department, and who have experience in interdisciplinary research collaboration.
