Job description

We are seeking scholars researching topics related to the grant theme, including such issues the ability or inability of business or markets to address social problems, empirical and normative assessments of charity, philosophical investigations of obligations of beneficence, responses to criticisms of effective altruism and social entrepreneurship, work on the optimal balance between investment, trade, and charity, and so on. Inquiries about the appropriateness of various research topics can be directed to [email protected]

The fellowship is for one year (2022-3) but may be renewable for a second year. There are no teaching obligations. The successful candidate is expected to spend the year producing published research in high-quality venues.

Appointment is for the period August 1, 2022-July 31, 2023. If interested, please send only a CV or resume and a cover letter describing one's research interests to [email protected]. Deadline for applications is Feb. 20, 2022.
