Job description |
The Philosophy Department at Bucknell University invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy to begin August 2022. The successful candidate will teach two sections of a topical introduction to philosophy course and an intermediate course each semester: Contemporary Ethical Theory (Fall ’22) and History of Modern (Spring ’23). The Department particularly welcomes applications from candidates whose research focuses on Modern Philosophy or those with experience teaching the History of Modern Philosophy, especially in ways that diversify the typical “canon.” |
