Position Introduction The Department of Philosophy and the Program in Women’s Studies at Vassar College invites applications for a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow position for a term of two years, beginning August 2022, with a specialization in Feminist Philosophy, broadly construed to include feminist philosophy as it intersects with other areas of philosophy. Position Description Applicants must be prepared to teach Feminist Theory, Introduction to Women's Studies (team taught with a faculty member from the Women's Studies program), courses in philosophy and contemporary issues, and in Queer, Transgender, and/or Gender Studies at the undergraduate level. The teaching load is 3 courses per year, and the position includes research funds and coverage of moving expenses.
