The Department of Philosophy at the University of Cincinnati is hiring a Visiting Assistant Professor with an Area Specialization (AOS) in Ethics, Applied Ethics, or Bioethics. This is a full-time, one-year, non-tenure-track position beginning in August 2022. The teaching load is 3-2 (Fall and Spring). Our teaching needs include a mix of on-campus and online (asynchronous) classes. The Department of Philosophy is a PhD-granting department with strengths in philosophy of science, philosophy of cognitive science, and moral psychology. We offer undergraduate degrees in Philosophy and in Cognitive Studies, as well as a Philosophy minor and Bioethics certificate. Essential Functions
