Faculty – Director, Menard Center for the Study of Institutions and Innovation (MCSII)

The University of Wisconsin-Stout seeks an emerging or established scholar to fill a tenure-track or tenured faculty position, open to all ranks, that includes release time from teaching to lead the Menard Center for the Study of Institutions and Innovation (MCSII).  MCSII is a unique center serving as the hub of a statewide network of public and private universities promoting the study and discussion of civil liberties.  The successful candidate will effectively teach undergraduate courses (face-to-face and online), actively engage in relevant service, be a productive scholar, and thrive administrating MCSII.  We seek an ambitious individual who will serve as MCSII associate director in 2022-2023 and become MCSII director thereafter.  Travel appropriate to the position is expected.  A strong commitment to high quality learning experiences in and beyond the classroom and promoting an equitable and inclusive environment are required.
