Lecturer (EXPIRED)

The Department of Philosophy at Princeton University may have occasional openings for Lecturers to teach precepts for undergraduate courses during the 2022-2023 academic year. These courses may focus on areas such as ethics, logic and introductory philosophy. Serving in a preceptor capacity requires leading weekly discussions, attending course lectures, meeting with the course instructor(s), holding regular on-campus office hours, and grading student exams and papers. Appointment duty time will depend upon student enrollment, and positions may begin September 1, 2022 or January 16, 2023 depending on the needs of the department.

Essential Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Philosophy or related field required, PhD preferred

Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
