Lecturer (EXPIRED)

The Fordham University Philosophy Department seeks to hire a Lecturer for the 2022–2023 academic year.  4/4 course load, including instruction in the core curriculum (“Philosophy of Human Nature” and “Philosophical Ethics” courses); some sections will require an emphasis on writing and speaking.  No committee work. The term of the appointment is one year, renewable if University needs demand.  The position is full-time and includes benefits.  The Ph.D. must be completed by August 1, 2022.

Submit cover letter, CV, three letters of recommendation, dissertation abstract, writing sample, a statement on teaching, and evidence of teaching ability (e.g., syllabi, student evaluations, letters discussing your teaching ability), through Interfolio. Application deadline is July 25, 2022.
