Director of Growth and Communications

Full-time, $80,000-85,000 a year plus benefits, including employer-covered health, dental, and vision insurance. 


Description

The Director of Growth and Communications will lead ThinkerAnalytix’s content development efforts for new markets and implement new communications strategies for our growing network of instructors. The Director of Growth reports to the Vice President of Operations and Strategy. The role is remote, with detailed responsibilities outlined below.  

ThinkerAnalytix is an education non-profit organization partnered with the Harvard University Department of Philosophy. Preferred Qualifications

–Committed to growing the ThinkerAnalytix mission and expanding our reach in Higher Education
–Background in philosophy
–Experience working with educators (Higher Ed. preferred)
–Self-directed and works well independently
–Keen to develop skills in marketing strategy, product development, and communications
–Excited to work in a small collaborative team environment with start-up mentality


Role & Responsibilities

Lead the development of content for new markets (25%)

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop new content, such as college core curricula, negotiation and/or business ethics courses, pre-law and first-year law programs, and test prep 

  • Assess the uptake and usefulness of new content through metrics and informal user interviews

Pursue new relationships and partnerships with institutions and educators (25%)

  • Research, identify, contact, and interview potential clients and partners to determine opportunities for ThinkerAnalytix

  • Attend conferences, research and identify leads, and send marketing messages to potential new clients

  • Develop marketing language based on interview findings

Track client journey and provide client care (30%)

  • Meet with new users to provide support

  • Follow up with current users to develop relationships

  • Conduct occasional classroom visits & professional development workshops

Support Vice President of Operations and Strategy to review and refine existing ThinkerAnalytix offerings (10%)

Develop modes for community-building among ThinkerAnalytix’s network of teachers, professors, and professionals (10%)

  • Design conferences, seminars, and other events that bring together the TA network and showcase new and recurring TA offerings to prospective clients
