Job description

The Law & Ethics Area at Fordham University Gabelli School of Business welcomes applications for a position at the level of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) of Business Ethics.   The position begins Fall 2023.  

The ideal candidate must possess a Ph.D. in Philosophy or Management (with a specialization in Business Ethics), a Ph.D. in Business Ethics, or a J.D., with a significant record in business ethics research (an expected completion date no later than July 1, 2023, for the Ph.D. is acceptable).

Law & Ethics Area faculty teach a variety of courses in the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. programs.  Successful applicants will have a strong commitment to further the Area's tradition of excellence in teaching and publishing high-quality scholarship in leading journals.  Information about the Area can be found at https://www.fordham.edu/gabelli-school-of-business/faculty/academic-areas/law-and-ethics/.

The Gabelli School of Business has approximately three thousand graduate and undergraduate students enrolled on two campuses in a variety of programs with a strong focus on responsible business and sustainability. One campus is at Lincoln Center in Manhattan and one in the Bronx. Faculty can be assigned to either campus or both.
