Definition of Class
To assist the Director in the strategic planning, development, performance, and promotion of Center activities and events, materials, programs, and research and to serve as the primary liaison to industry, academic centers, government officials, and non-profit groups by building supportive relationships for the public-facing, educational, and research activities of the Center. This position has opportunities for promotion as well as advancement into an Associate Director role with the growth of The Center for Practical Ethics and the expansion of its programs. The incumbent works in a public-facing role organizing events and/or producing materials for non-academic audiences. Examples of Work Performed
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
Education: Master’s Degree in Philosophy (ethics, applied ethics, and/or public philosophy) from an accredited college or university. AND Experience: One (1) year of experience related to the above described duties.
