Assistant Professor (EXPIRED)

THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSISSIPPI  The Department of Philosophy and Religion invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track position with the title of Assistant Professor of Philosophy, beginning August 2023.  A successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in philosophy in hand by August 2023, with a specialty in the Philosophy of Law. The teaching load is 3/2, with expectations of excellent teaching, continued research, and university service. The candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory, upper-level, and graduate courses and will be able to develop new courses consistent with expertise and interests. The candidate will also be responsible for organizing the annual Dunbar Lecture in Philosophy and Law.
