Job description

The University of Maryland at College Park is the state's flagship campus. It is located a short metro-rail ride from Washington DC, where many faculty and graduate students live.

The successful candidate will have a promising record of philosophical research (as evidenced by letters, writing samples, and/or publications), as well as an ability to perform well in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and a willingness to fulfill various service and administrative responsibilities. The candidate will also have some research program that is relevant to gender or racial justice. PhD must be in hand by August 23, 2023. The Department of Philosophy is committed to increasing the diversity of the campus community.
