Institution: Faculty of Humanities, Department of Philosophy, Programme of Liberal Arts and Sciences Responsibilities Duties primarily include teaching and research. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications. Specific Duties Your responsibilities will include independent and collaborative research and teaching in the field of history of science and historical epistemology or political epistemology. Different emphases are possible with regard to the knowledge content, historical epochs and cultures treated. Interest in overarching issues, such as the long-term development of knowledge, cultural comparison, or epistemological issues is expected. You are expected to be committed to the joint development of the Liberal Arts and Sciences degree programme (https://www.gw.uni-hamburg.de/studium/liberal-arts-and-sciences.html). The teaching obligation is 4 course hours per semester. Requirements A university degree in a relevant field.
