Assistant Professor, Modern Philosophy (EXPIRED)

The Philosophy Program of the Department of History and Philosophy at Eastern Michigan University seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. AOS: Modern Philosophy. AOC: open, but preference for scholars who bring a pluralist, feminist or post-colonial orientation to Modern Philosophy.

This is a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. Nine contact hours per week. Competitive salary and benefits. Must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy by time of appointment. Applicants must be willing to participate in departmental, college, and university committee work. Evidence of active research program is necessary. Experience teaching at a university or college with a diverse student population is desirable.
